- 1. It takes more than three seconds to load. Google's Core Web Vitals research is blunt: as load time grows, visitors leave before seeing anything.
- 2. It breaks on phones. Over two thirds of local browsing is mobile. If buttons are tiny and text needs pinching, you are paying for traffic you cannot convert.
- 3. Your phone number and contact form need hunting. Every extra tap between "interested" and "contacted" loses a percentage of buyers.
- 4. It still says "© 2022" in the footer. Stale details make customers wonder if you are still trading.
- 5. There is no proof: no photos of real work, no named testimonials, no case studies. Usability research from the Nielsen Norman Group consistently shows credibility signals drive purchase decisions.
- 6. Nobody can find it on Google. No titles, no local keywords, no sitemap. Being on page three is the same as not existing.
- 7. It looks like everyone else's template. If your site could belong to any business in your industry, price becomes the only thing left to compete on.
